The Seventh Annual IGF Meeting will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan from 6-9 November 2012. The proposed main theme for the meeting is: ‘Internet Governance for Sustainable Human, Economic and Social Development’.
May Open Consultations and MAG Meeting
The next Open Consultations and MAG meeting will be held on 15-17 May at the ILO Headquarters building in Geneva, Switzerland as part of the WSIS Forum 2012.
The meeting schedule is as follows:
Open Consultations: 15 May Room II 11:15 - 13:00hrs and 15:00 - 18:00hrs.
MAG Meeting 16 May Governing Body Room 9:00- 12:45hrs , Afternoon session 14:00 - 18:00hrs to be held in breakout rooms: III, IV, V, VI, IX, XI.
MAG Meeting 17 May Governing Body Room 9:00 - 12:45hrs, Afternoon session 14:00 - 18:00hrs.
Registration for these meetings is the same as the registration for the WSIS Forum.

Dynamic Coalitions
Dynamic Coalitions who have been active in the past year can also request a room to meet, using this form. The deadline for submission is 6 May 2012.
Call for Open Forum proposals
All major organisations dealing with Internet Governance related issues are invited to submit proposals for Open Forum, using this form. The deadline for submission is 30 June 2012.
Resource Persons
The list of resource persons for the IGF 2012 meeting is now available. It includes their areas of expertise and interest. Resource persons are volunteers who can be called upon to comment by moderators of the main sessions or asked to participate in workshop panels.
Workshop organizers are reminded that they are meant to provide diversity in terms of perspectives, geography and gender. They are therefore encouraged to draw on this list to provide the requested diversity. The resource persons can be contacted through the IGF Secretariat by sending an email to igf[at].unog.ch
MAG Renewal
A press release has been issued about the renewal of the MAG. A list of the members of the renewed MAG is available.
