Call for Workshop Proposals

To submit a fully fledged proposal, an online workshop proposal submission was made available . You will need to first register or login to submit a proposal. All entities that had not organised a workshop at the 2011 and 2012 IGF meeting could submit  workshop proposals . Selected workshop proponents were able to edit and add more information to their preliminary workshop proposals, using their existing username and password. The deadline for submitting the complete proposals has passed. Workshop organizers will not be able to edit their proposals until the final evaluation of the proposals. Read more

Preliminary Call for Workshop Proposals

As a result of the  MAG recommendations given in its 1 March meeting,the IGF Secretariat issued a preliminary call for workshop proposals. The deadline has now passed and the preliminary call for workshop proposals is closed.  Read more..

In order for a preliminary workshop  proposal to be considered by the MAG it has to be published.

Open Consultations and MAG meeting - February 2013

The Open Consultations and MAG meeting were held from 28 February  to 1 March at UNESCO Head Quarters.

The next Open Consultations and MAG meeting will be held on 21-23 May at the European Broadcasting Union, Geneva, Switzerland.

Call for Contributions

The deadline for the stakeholders to  submit written contributions taking stock of the Baku 2012 IGF meeting and looking forward - suggestions on themes and format, for the IGF 2013 meeting has passed.

A draft synthesis paper reflecting all inputs received by the Secretariat is available. This paper acted as an input to the February 2013 consultations.

The contributions that have been received are available here for viewing.

Stakeholders were also able to leave a message containing their suggestions on the main themes and sub themes on  IGF discussion board.
