Biography: Ms. Justina Raižytė is a second year political science student at the Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University. She has been vice-chairman of the Students’ Scientific Society at the Institute of International Relations and Political Science since 2009. Ms. Raižytė is also a member of the student corporation RePublica of the same institute.
During her studies in the Kaunas Juozo Grušo secondary school Ms Raižytė has demonstrated her knowledge, creativity and other skills in various competitions or challenges. She received a scholarship from the Mstislav Rostropovič charity twice as well as the support foundation Support for Lithuanian Children for high academic achievements. In 2005 – 2008 she was a member of the National Student Academy philology section. Moreover, she won the international competition „Begegnung mit Osteuropa“ which took place in Germany in 2007 and 2008. Justina Raižytė also graduated from Kaunas 1st Musical School where she specialized in playing the violin. After that, she continued her studies in Juozas Grušas secondary school with the artistic training course.
Ms Raižytė is fluent in both English and German. During her free time, Justina is interested in political theories, sociology and psychology as well as cultural activities, such as playing the violin, guitar or reading literature about art.
