Biography: George Victor Salama received his Bachelor of Science from the American University in Cairo (major: Computer Science – Minor: Electronics), Master of Science in Business Information Technology Middlesex University - UK (Thesis: Internet Governance, Multilingualism Perspective), and currently is PHD researcher on Internet Governance Tamper University - Finland.
George is a Senior Program Officer at National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) - International Technical Coordination Department. He is also a member of the Arab team for Domain Names and Internet Issue (LAS) and the Arabic Script IDN Working Group.
Moreover, he presented Egypt in many international events, such as the Internet Governance Forum (Rio, December 2007)(Hyderabad, November 2008), IGF for Policy Makers and Regulators (Mauritius, March 2009), ICANN Studenkries (Helsinki, September 2008), The First Summer School on Internet Governance (Meissen, July 2007), AfriNIC 6 & Internet Society INET (Abuja, April 2007), and First African ccTLD Workshop (Cairo, May 2007)
