Biography: Ms. Näslund has a substantial experience and expertise in representing international and local companies on various aspects of intellectual property law, including copyright, patents, utility models, industrial design and has successfully represented clients in many trademark infringement disputes. She has also long term experience in handling matters related to information technology law- data protection, domain name registration, IT system development agreements.
Viive Näslund holds a B.A. degree from the University of Tartu, Estonia (Faculty of Law, cum laude 1997) and an L.L.M. degree (Masters of Law) in Law and Information Technology from the University of Stockholm (2001).
She is member of Estonian Bar Association since 1999, a member of Intellectual Property practice group of Lex Mundi – the World’s Leading Association of Independent Law Firms and acts as a panelist for .eu domain name disputes at the Czech Arbitration Court.
