Concise Description:
The gTLD space is expanding with the introduction of the proposed new gTLDs. The introduction of the new gTLDs would mean that there would be far more new complicated legal issues and impacting them. The proposed workshop will examine the various legal , policy and regulatory challenges regarding the introduction and successful implementation of the new gTLDs. Best practices that need to be adopted by the relevant stakeholders in the new gTLD regime, would also be discussed.
Speakers from potential applicants and other interested players ,as well as representatives from ICANN and WIPO would be invited to share their perspectives.
