CYBERLAW 2010- WHAT IT HOLDS FOR INTERNET GOVERNANCE

Concise Description:
The proposed workshop to aims to identify various cyberlaw issues that are likely to emerge in the year 2010 and then examine as to how the said issues will have a direct relevance and bearing upon the further growth of Internet governance. It is pertinent to point out that 2010 is a landmark year as it signals the completion of the first decade of the 21st century. There have been various emerging cyberlaw trends and issues that have caught the attention of the law makers across the world. However, the cyberlaw issues arising in the year 2010 are likely to have a direct relevance upon how Internet Governance regime is likely to further evolve. The proposed workshop will examine the interplay between the cyberlaw issues and how Internet Governance is likely to be impacted by the same. It is proposed to invite cyberlaw scholars and lawyers from different parts of the world to come and contribute their inputs in the proposed workshop.
