All relevant stakeholder groups representing governments, private sector and civil society, including the academic and technical communities are invited to make proposals for new MAG members in order to allow for rotation among its members.
The IGF Secretariat would like to welcome you to the newly redesigned IGF Web site. The main aim of the redesign was to make the site more user-friendly and give it the ability to add on more tools for better online collaboration.We welcome your comments and suggestions as we continuously try to improve our ability to foster dialogue on Internet governance.
The IGF Secretariat would like to thank the Host Country and all participants who made it possible to go ahead with the Hyderabad meeting despite the tragic events of Mumbai. The final count reveals that 1406 participants attended the meeting and helped make it a success.
All proceedings of the Hyderabad Meeting will be uploaded gradually. All meeting organizers are kindly requested to submit their report to the IGF Secretariat by 31 January 2009. A Web based form will be made available shortly.
Consultations open to all stakeholders will be held in Geneva on 23-24 February.
Two main items will be on the agenda:
• Taking stock of the Hyderabad Meeting and suggest improvements for the 2009 Meeting to be held in Sharm El Sheikh
• Preparing the IGF Review process.
