Mr. Masanobu Katoh is an important contributor to the ICANN process, particularly in developing IDN policy. He is the chairman of the Internet Law and Policy Forum (ILPF) and active in many other e-commerce business groups. Mr. Katoh represents Asia on ICANN and serves on the U.S. State Department Advisory Committee on International Communications and Information Policy, where he is the co-chairman of the U.S. Department of State Working Group on Intellectual Property, Standards and Interoperability.
