Learn how to use the online platform for this year’s virtual IGF
The IGF Secretariat is holding a webinar, in two time slots, for session organizers, speakers and remote hub organisers to learn about the functionalities of the online platform available for IGF 2020. But any interested IGF participant is also welcome to attend:
Are you a session organizer?
Remember to update information about your session with any changes to speakers, or format (if you need to adjust the format due to the all-online nature of this year’s IGF). To do this, log into the IGF website, then go to your session page, and you will see an option to edit your session’s details.
Session organisers: make sure you take advantage of a new field in the session form, “About this session” to provide a clear, concise description designed to make it easy for participants to see how interesting and relevant your session is for them to attend.
Detailed information has been sent to session organisers with information on how to prepare for their sessions, including information about how to host your session via the online platform and tips for publicising your session.
With IGF 2020 getting closer and closer, why not join a Best Practice Forum (BPF) or a Dynamic Coalition (DC) and help contribute to their important policy-related work?
