□ Training of Remote Moderation and Online Participation for Remote Hubs and Panelists to be held in November 2016.

Registered organizers will be contacted for their attendance and they will also receive a quick manual for operation and good practices.

It is strongly recommended to attend the online training sessions with the same equipment that will be used at IGF 2016.

□  Register your remote hub! Individuals interested in or planning to organize a remote hub ahead of IGF 2016 are encouraged to register as soon as possible by 27 October 2016, 23:59 p.m. UTC - 11.

Remote hubs are the best way for groups to participate in the IGF online and provide input into the meeting. Learn more here.

□ IGF Community Public Consultation: Ideas and Suggestions from IGF Retreat

Following the retreat held 14-16 July 2016 on “Advancing the Ten-Year Mandate of the IGF”, a compilation of the ideas and suggestions that emerged is now available for public comment. The compilation document is structured according to the retreat’s programme, outlining possible areas of improvement for the IGF in the ten years ahead. More information on the retreat itself is available here.

All IGF stakeholders are encouraged to share their comments and additional suggestions for review by the community, and as input to the 2016 Internet Governance Forum (IGF): ‘Enabling Inclusive and Sustainable Growth’, scheduled to take place from 6-9 December 2016 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

□ IGF 2016 Pre-Events ('Day 0' Events)

IGF pre-events will be held on 5 December 2016. Organizations interested in arranging pre-events are invited to send their requests to [email protected] indicating: 1) the title and a short description of the event; 2) the number of people expected to attend the event; 3) the requested time slot. 

Slots for pre-events will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis, taking into account space availability and the request received.

□ IGF Village Booths: Requests now CLOSED

Exhibition booths are available on a limited basis and upon request as part of the IGF Village at the annual meeting in Guadalajara. Please submit your request for a booth by email to [email protected] until Friday 29 July.

A two-day working retreat on "Advancing the 10-Year Mandate of the IGF" will take place on 14-16 July 2016 in Glen Cove, New York. All relevant stakeholders, stakeholder groups and institutions were welcome to submit nominations for participants in the retreat before Tuesday 7 June. Detailed information is available hereFAQs on the Retreat are also available.
