3. The session will be concluded with types of tangible interventions that youth can do through digital entrepreneurship activities

Given the format of the discussion is a roundtable discussion, 15 minutes will be allocated to provide introduction of the topics. The discussion will further be continued with engagement of the discussion participant stimulated by the speakers delivering their perspective and expert on the issue of youth digital entrepreneurship.

The issue of youth inclusion on internet policy making has been revolving for quite sometimes. However, it is almost rare to none the discussion treats youth as the key role on the discussion. Youth are more often treated as object, instead of subject of the discussion. Unfortunately, this situation happens even with youth acting as the speaker or resource person of the discussion. The agenda of having youth voice to be heard has not been able to recognize the strategic position of youth even on the internet policy sector.

Whereas, as the majority of internet user are comprised by youth. Through youth engagement to the internet, it is almost impossible not to find internet content developed or addressed the needs of youth. Creative content and out-of-the box thinking are made mostly by youth. The familiarity to the technology as well as the current trend are mostly adopted by youth. Admittedly or not, youth are among the expert of the internet. The emergence of video blogger, product endorser, are only to name few of how youth embraces their expertise on the internet. Fortunately, this expertise is able to raise profit for its actor. The passion of utilizing internet for their interest turns into a beneficial opportunity, that may be spread among the youth.

Departing from the above, the workshop will address the following policy questions:

1. What obstacles and limitation that youth needs to know in the digital entrepreneurship activities?

2. What issues that needs to be addressed within youth digital entrepreneurship activities?

3. How the expertise of youth through the digital entrepreneurship activities may be channeled to the course of shaping internet public policy?

Despite of the absence of previous session as the basis of this workshop, this workshop is a merge on the topic of digital economy and youth inclusion. This workshop is expected not to only address the unanswered policy question but also influence youth to start their own digital entrepreneurship. Given that the entrepreneurship activities are the smallest yet tangible activities with potential to bring profit.
