Rafael Pérez Galindo is an official of the Spanish Government’s Senior Corps for Information Technologies, appointed Head of Unit at the Directorate for Information Society Services (State Secretariat for Telecommunications and Information Society). He is currently dealing with the drafting of legislation and advisory functions in the fields of information society services, e-identification and trust services, Internet domain names, Internet Governance and IPv6.
Mr. Pérez Galindo is serving as Spanish Government representative in European and international fora in these fields, such as the Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC) to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). Prior to this, he worked in the private sector in networking and consultancy areas for different firms.
