7. Description of workshop As more people come online, e-government services spread and new business models emerge the issue of cybersecurity is of utmost importance for inclusion and economic growth. To achieve this, governments and private companies deploy measures and policies that specify the ‘correct’ behaviour of consumers and citizens. Unfortunately, many individuals do not comply with specified policies or expected behaviours. Besides many other potential reasons for this, the two most compelling are that people, in both developed and developing countries, are often not aware of the risks and/or do not know (or fully understand) the ‘correct’ behaviour. |
