Nairobi, Kenya - Assistant Director, Information Technology Communications Commission

Mr. Michael Katundu is the head of Information Technology (IT) at the Communications Regulatory Authority of Kenya, Communications Commission of Kenya (CCK). Among other industry ICT achievements, Mr. Katundu, on behalf of the CCK, successfully coordinated the re-delegation process of the dot ke Country Code Top-Level Domain, which was finalized in late 2002. Mr. Katundu is a member of the board of directors for the Kenya Network Information Centre (KENIC), the designated dot ke management entity in Kenya. In addition, Mr. Katundu is involved in the WSIS process at the national, regional and the international level.

Mr. Katundu holds a master's degree and bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT).
