William J. Drake is a Senior Associate of the Centre for International Governance at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. In addition, he is co-editor of the MIT Press book series, The Information Revolution and Global Politics, and a consultant on global information and communication technology governance issues. Previously he has been the President of Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility and a Senior Associate at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and has taught at Georgetown University and the University of California, San Diego. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University.
