Interventions

This session will work towards raising issues of youth involvement and collaboration in context of GDPR and what is happening around the world. We are also looking for future collaboration among the youth leaders in the context of creating a discussion and how youth of developing nation can take part in at their policy level discussion at national and international level.

Diversity

We have tried to encompass the leaders of developing nation in context of GDPR and what level of awareness is there in youth. in major cases the awareness is nil and how we can facilitate the situation.

2. Bruna Santos …………………………………………………………………Brazil
3. Arsène Tungali……………………………………………………………….Congo
4. Aris Ignacio ……………………………………………………………………..Philippines

The GDPR also teaches some new vocabulary. For instance, the regulation promotes techniques such as anonymization (removing personally identifiable information where it is not needed), and pseudonymization (replacing personally identifiable material with artificial identifiers). The regulation also promotes the use of encryption to protect personal data.

There has been very limited research and study done where directly or indirectly the law effects everyone from around the globe.
With the limitation of capacity building and awareness the overall concept of GDPR and its impact has been fairly explored especially in developing Countries.

We will be giving the speakers at 5 minutes to share their part of the knowledge and experience. We have asked them to bring in case studies and presentation in context of the proposed topic. We will allocation the rest time for the discussion and topic of how the youth can be involved with such topic at national and international level.

GDPR has been a major issue for developed nation and has been enacted from May 25 2018, apparently in developing countries and other lower economies the GDPR issues has been pretty silent about its impact. No matter in any condition the GDPR encompassed all stakeholder and region creating a standard form of rights where there is gaps in between nations and at national practice.

Online Participation

I think online participation is an important aspect of how we can connect and collaborate with the youth leaders. We believe in motivating and reaching out in terms of creating a collaborative environment for empowering youth and diversity.
