Description

The alarming results of research on the vanishing species of fauna and flora and the observation that one of the species likely to become extinct in this century is man, the exploitation of the environment, reluctance to implement SDGs in real life and actions significantly reducing the negative impact of man on the environment in 2019 were repeatedly addressed by the world media. Still, however, many policymakers have denied that we are dealing with global warming and have ignored the dangers of destructive human activity. In 2020 the world stopped because of the coronavirus pandemic and we started to see the impact of lockdown on the environment. At the same time the drought and water crisis in Poland became an extremely important problem. The questions about how we can save our planet and ourselves have been raised again. Can the weapon that allows us to find new models of life and business activities also help us to radically reduce our environmental impact? Can technology reduce human destruction and even help us recover what seemed to be lost?
