WOMEN IN TECH: PAVING THE WAY FOR NEW GENERATION OF WOMEN LEADERSHIP
Talking about gender equality, the lack of women in the tech industry seems to be the largest problem looming overhead as there is more and more discrimination report on the recruitment and hiring process for women, whether based upon race or gender.
This session is an opportunity to interact with the teams coordinating the work of this year's Best Practice Forums (BPFs):

This is an engagement of stakeholders to discuss, in a social / informal setting the Value Propositions for stakeholders in the EHealth Space. We will get to know each other, then decide on 3 to 5 EHealth Values to be discussed in depth, within breakout rooms. Each group will report back to the full group towards the end of the session with a few summary words of their discussions. There is also a main session Nov 4,1600 hrs UTC by the Dynamic Coalition on Data Driven Heath Technologies.

An open discussion to prepare for the BPF 2021 cycle based on the finding and recommendations in the report by the BPF on BPFs 'Reviewing past Best Practice Forums (BPFs) to enchance future BPF work'.
This session's goal is to provide an interactive space for stakeholders from the Global South to share their insights about the regulation of Artificial Intelligence around the southern hemisphere. We'll use a jamboard to collect inputs and share insights and impressions about them in Zoom. If you want to connect with stakeholders from the global South and exchange ideas and knowledge about the AI regulatory race, we'll be delighted to have you!
In October, a network of non-State actors started a coalition to support and engage with the Secretary-General of the United Nations on Digital Cooperation. The first action on the agenda is a "Position Paper" on expectations and aspirations of the UN Tech Envoy. A draft is underway. This session will be an open consultation on the draft.

Right now women and gender diverse people are being included as an essential part of the conversation in all aspects of society, the IGF is not far from that, but there's work to be done in order to gain more inclusion for this big part of the population, especially gender diverse people that tend to be underrepresented. That's why we proposed this session open to everyone as a space to talk and meet how we, women, and gender diverse people, live and envision IGF and the Internet Ecosystem
