Senior-level executive with over 25 years of experience. Polish entrepreneur, investor and strategic advisor. Experienced as CEO of private companies and as a Secretary of State and a Government Plenipotentiary in national public administration. Graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and Executive MBA of the Warsaw Collegium Humanum and Apsley Business School in London.

A highly analytical decision-maker with an extensive, in-depth understanding of business strategies, digital technologies, investments, management, public sector, as well as European and regional government public policies and processes, Mr Szubert earned multiple achievement awards during his early career. He authored many articles and commentaries in the daily press, specialist press and television, as well as serving as a keynote speaker and panellist at the biggest and most prestigious conferences.

In 2015, he was awarded the prestigious title of "ICT Industry Man of the Year" by the Burda-Media / CRN editorial team. In November 2017, he was listed among the 100 most influential people of the innovation area in Central and Eastern Europe as part of the New Europe 100 list. In the 2015-2017 period, he served as the Strategic Advisor to the Minister of Digital Affairs and co-authored the Polish digital strategy. Between 2017 and 2018, he was a Member of the European 'eGovernment Steering Board', composed of Member States representatives responsible for their national eGovernment strategies. In the 2017-2018 period, he was the Secretary of State and the Government Plenipotentiary for Digital Single Market at the Ministry of Digital Affairs and was responsible for international affairs. From 2017 to 2019, he was a member of the Multistakeholder Advisory Group to the UN Secretary-General, serving for a total of 3 terms.

In 2017, Mr Szubert was Poland’s first-ever representative to be invited to the G20 Digital Ministers' Meeting. In December 2019, he was awarded the title of Honorary Ambassador of the Polish Economy. From 2017 to 2020, he was a Visiting Fellow at Oxford University and a Senior Member at St Antony's College. He remains a member of the National Centre for Research and Development Council – an executive agency of the Minister of Education and Science, created as a platform for effective dialogue between the science and business environment.

In 2019, he was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Rebirth of Poland – the second-highest national award – by the President of Poland. Starting from November 2020, he served as High Representative of the Prime Minister for European Digital Policy and the Republic of Poland Plenipotentiary for the UN IGF 2021 summit, with a record number of registered participants from as many as 175 countries and a reach of 5 million people worldwide.
