Neil Dundas is an African born and raised entrepreneur, lawyer and techie. He is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Domain Name Services (Pty) Ltd (South Africa) and DNS Africa Ltd (Mauritius). These companies provide specialised registry services and technologies for various Top Level Domains (TLDs) in South Africa, Africa and globally.       

Neil is also the Co-CEO of the ZA Registry Consortium (Pty) Ltd, an organisation responsible for the registry operations of various South African (.ZA) second level domains, including Africa’s largest commercial namespace CO.ZA. In 2012, during ICANN’s new gTLD application round, he helped secure the support of the African Union Commission (AUC) and other key African Internet stakeholders, to facilitate the application and launch of the .AFRICA Top Level Domain (gTLD).

Neil is a qualified attorney and a previous partner of Bowmans Inc (previously Bowman Gilfillan), one of Africas most prominent law firms. Through his career as an Intellectual Property and IT attorney, working closely with the domain name and Internet communities in Africa, he has developed extensive expertise in the legal, policy and business aspects relating to the multi-stakeholder environment. 

Neil is a previous committee member of ISOC-ZA and regularly participates in various South African and African Internet related events. Neil was a finalist in the 2012 South African IT Personality of the Year (ITWeb).
