Mr. Juuso Moisander works with Commercial and Economic aspects of Technology and internet governance at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. He got involved in WSIS follow-up and attended his first IGF in 2008. A strong supporter of the multistakeholder approach to internet governance, he started Finland’s national IGF in 2010 and has chaired its preparatory process for many years. He has served in the MAG 2014-17 and participated in the 2016 IGF retreat.
With nearly two decades’ experience in trade policy, Juuso has worked with of a broad spectrum of issues. He served as Head of Trade and Economic section at the Embassy of Finland in Washington, D.C. 2017-2018 and as Seconded National Expert at the Delegation of the European Union to the United States 2018-2020.
In his free time Juuso enjoys being outdoors. He also has a car restoration project to finish.
