Mr. Sandro Gianella

Sandro Gianella leads OpenAI’s Policy & Partnerships team across Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. He’s previously built the EMEA Public Policy function at Stripe, worked on technology regulation at Google and the G7/G20 process as a lead analyst for the G20 Research Group and the Heinrich Böll Foundation. He’s a member of the Atomico Expert Network providing counsel on regulatory matters to European scale-ups and an LP in the solo GP fund Common Magic.

Mr. Johnathan Charles

Jonathan Charles is a former BBC foreign correspondent and senior communications executive, currently known for his work as a geopolitical commentator and conference moderator. He spent nearly three decades at the BBC, covering the Gulf Wars, Balkan conflicts, and the war in Afghanistan, and later served as Managing Director of Communications at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Ms. Jennifer Bacchus

Jennifer Bachus is the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary and Acting Special Envoy for the Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy at the U.S. Department of State. A senior career diplomat, she leads U.S. efforts to advance foreign policy in the digital and cyber domains, including international cybersecurity, digital governance, and emerging technologies. Prior to this role, she served as Chargé d’Affaires and Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Prague and held diplomatic postings in Central Asia, Europe, and Washington, D.C. Chris Yiu is the Director of Public Policy for Northern Europe at Meta. Based in the UK, he joined Meta in 2023 after a distinguished career spanning roles at the Tony Blair Institute, where he led its global Technology & Public Policy efforts, and earlier as General Manager at Uber, as well as positions in government-focused organizations like HM Treasury, the Cabinet Office, McKinsey, Policy Exchange, and SCVO.

Ms. Cecilie Myrseth

Cecilie Myrseth is Norway’s Minister of Trade and Industry and a prominent Labour Party politician. Born in 1984 in Harstad and raised in Lavangen, she trained as a psychologist at the University of Tromsø before entering politics. She served as Chair of the Troms County Cabinet (2015–2017) and has been a Member of Parliament since 2017, holding key roles on the Business and Industry and Health and Care Services Committees. In 2023, she was appointed Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Policy, before assuming her current ministerial role in April 2024.
