Jonathan Charles is a former BBC foreign correspondent and senior communications executive, currently known for his work as a geopolitical commentator and conference moderator. He spent nearly three decades at the BBC, covering the Gulf Wars, Balkan conflicts, and the war in Afghanistan, and later served as Managing Director of Communications at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). An Oxford graduate in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, Charles has advised governments and international institutions on strategic communications and global affairs.
