SDGs

4. Quality Education
9. Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
12. Responsible Production and Consumption
13. Climate Action
17. Partnerships for the Goals

Targets: Artificial Intelligence has a real impact on our lives and on our environment, and the Sustainable Development Goals enable us to evaluate these impacts in a systematic manner. This session will shows that doing so requires us to understand the context of AI – the infrastructure it is built on, who develops it, who owns it, who has access to it, who uses it, and what it is used for – rather than relying on an isolationist theory of technology. By doing so, we can analyze not only the direct effects of AI on sustainability, but also the indirect – or second-order – effects. AI for the Sustainable Development Goals shows how AI potentially affects all SDGs – both positively and negatively.
Bringing together multi-disciplinary speakers, latest technology and researcher and dev, AI for Good is serving as the leading platform to accelerate this pursuit.

Description:

Data science and artificial intelligence are two technologies that are inextricably linked, to the point that we can speak of Data Intelligence. AI has become ubiquitous in businesses across all establishments where decision-making is transformed by intelligent machines. The need for smarter decisions and data management are the criteria driving this trend.

The convergence between data science and AI seems inevitable as the automation of intelligent decision-making emerges as the next evolution of internet governance. Increased agility, smarter business processes and improved productivity are the most likely benefits of this convergence.

The evolution of data management has not been without pitfalls in terms of internet governance. the main question that arises is how can we exploit and take advantage of these new technologies for better internet governance? This is a question that few event organizers ask themselves, and it is the subject that the Moroccan Federation of Internet Organizations intends to debate in the presence of experts, researchers and academics within the IGF 2022.

Expected Outcomes

We intend to collect relevant recommendations and proposals that can be studied and implemented.
Following this workshop we will plan as a Moroccan federation of internet organizations a series of conferences and workshops at national and international level to deal with all the questions and solutions that will be raised and proposed in this high level workshop of the IGF 2022.
We also expect to realize a scientific paper about this interesting topic and publish it together.

Hybrid Format: We will facilitate interaction between onsite and online speakers and attendees by making a discussion session at the end of intervention of speakers.
We will design the session with a sharing equal time to differences speakers to ensure the best possible experiences for online participants.
Also we I think that Official Online Participation Platforms is enough.
